Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Laser Blast?

A: Based at Cardiff Bay Activity Centre, Laser Blast is the ultimate strategic challenge that tests your wits in various scenarios, using the very latest in gaming technology.

All players will use a 'laser tagger' combined with a targeting scope, which is accurate up to 300m away. Small detectors are worn around the head via a cap (which is provided FOC) and these register hits from other players. Detectors signify successful hits by flashing red.

The laser taggers are extremely flexible as the amount of ammunition, and the number of lives per player, can be changed for each scenario.

Our staff are on hand to marshal the missions, and we endeavour to cater groups of all ages and abilities. Laser Blast is fun, safe and completely painless. The laser taggers use an infra-red emission and so are 100% eye safe (very similar to that on a TV remote control).
